Thank you to students from Harrisonburg City Public Schools who contributed the above artwork to “grow” the Many Voices of Harrisonburg Unity Tree at the Harrisonburg International Festival!! We are sorry that the weather didn’t allow us to display their work beside the mural at the event, but here they are for everyone to admire. The project invited elementary students to create a leaf, flower, or fruit that is native to a country/region represented in Harrisonburg’s population. Aren’t these absolutely beautiful?
