The Kurdish American Youth Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uniting the Kurdish voice to build lasting, educational, and supportive ties with local communities. Formed in December 2019, KAYA has not only been busy promoting Kurdish culture and holding events such as family nights, but are engaged in the local community by volunteering at Open Doors, celebrating women worldwide during National Women’s Day, and hosting clean-up days at Purcell Park and stream and Cyber Creek.
